Zantech is looking for a talented SQL Database Administrator to support our Army Client. This position will maintain the Database environment and work with a team to both maintain the security of the data and optimize/work towards data integration in the warehousing environment.

General Duties and Responsibilities:

• Ensure security configuration is up to DoD standards
• Apply appropriate patches and upgrades
• Make recommendations for tuning for increased performance
• Ensure backup and recovery procedures are in place
• Develop and maintain database components needed for software maintenance and development to include development of SQL Scripts, Stored Procedures, and ETL logic for the Data Warehouse.
• Write queries and custom reports as needed.
• Maintain knowledge of new technologies and best practices, and make recommendations

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• MCSA/MCSE SQL Server 2016 or greater
  • OR
• Microsoft Certified: Azure Database Admin Associate (DP-300)
• 5 - 7 years’ experience
• IAT-II Certification: i.e. Security
• Active DOD Secret with ability to upgrade to Top Secret/SSBI.
• Experience with STIGs
• Experience with ETL Logic
• Experience with Data Warehousing
• Experience with SQL Scripts
